RSVP to Adrienne West (awest@tri-valley3.org) for a speaker time; check in at the TPC table 10 minutes prior to your reserved speaker time

Representatives from numerous areas of adult life will be available to speak with students and families for the duration of the expo.  Feel free to visit the exhibitors before or after your reserved speaker time.  Transition areas represented will include: post-secondary education, employment, independent living, recreation/leisure, financial, legal, etc.

October 15, 2013  Post-Secondary Education Session  6:00 pm  Babyfold Training Center 

Parents and students are invited to come and explore continuing education programs and funding options.

January 21, 2014   Legal Session   6:00 pm   Babyfold Training Center 

The Legal Session will have a panel of attorneys speaking on a variety of topics, such as guardianship and special needs trusts. This session will be geared toward parents, middle school students, and high school students.

April 8, 2014  Employment Session   6:00 pm  Babyfold Training Center  

Activities will include a presentation about interview skills, a panel of young adults speaking and answering questions about their experiences gaining employment, and an open house of employment related service providers.

October 2014      Resource Expo       6:00 - 8:00 pm 

Numerous agencies and organizations that serve individuals with disabilities are available in a meet and greet format.  Come meet representatives, make connections with community organizations, and get information about the services that are available.
